graphic-NNNIt may be hard to believe that the reigning queen of pop is already 157, but with her daughter turning 19 today, Madonna reminds us how it’s all about Madonna.

The musical legend took a break from posting stuff about herself and instead shared two photos of herself to Instagram for her eldest-born, Lourdes “Lola” Leon’s 19th birthday.

Madonna and Lola’s nose, lips and a bit of her arm.

These were very intimate and private pictures that Madonna shared with Lola and her 5 million Instagram followers. Madonna is obviously still struggling to work out how to use WhatsApp. Madonna’s first post was a black-and-white image of her daughter cuddling up to her with the caption, “Happy Birthday to the most Precious Girl in the World! Love You 4 Ever [sic].” She added the hashtag, “rebelheart.” This inclusion was based on her social media strategists’ advice to use the humanising mother and daughter picture and cross promote the title of her new album and tour: Rebel Heart

The second post was a collage of three old pictures showcasing a youthful-looking Madonna (of course!) cradling a toddler which we assume is  Lourdes with the caption, “Happy Birthday Little Star. Never Forget Who You Are!” Again Madge’s musical genius shines and it even turns her birthday message into great lyric.

Shared two hours apart, the contrived, warm fuzzies received around 70,000 + likes each. Insiders said that Madonna was furious for she was aiming for at least 150,000 likes for the first picture. Seeing as that didn’t meet her social media targets, another one was sent out with just as lacklustre a response rate. Conclusion: having Lola in the pictures was a big mistake.
